Get Your Ham On!

Mama’s Losin’ It

HELLO AGAIN.  It's time for some more Mama Kat fun!  I'm afraid I may have scared many of you with my singing vlog last week, so I'll spare you this week!  This week I'm going to blog the vlog because that is the question I liked best.

6.) Describe a time when your child said or did something that made you laugh out loud.

This past St. Paddy's Day we were having dinner at a friends house.  Her tradition was to serve the kids green eggs and ham.  I knew my daughter would turn her nose up at the eggs but she sure loves her meat so the ham was a hit.  She polished off her first helping and came dancing up asking for more.  When she left with her plate, she danced off doing a little rap move.  When my friend asked her what she was doing... she replied, "I'm getting my HAM ON!!!!"  We were all laughing out loud and nearly rolling on the floor (yes Kat we were really LOL and ROTFLMAO but we did NOT WOOT WOOT)  Claire is usually more shy and reserved but she sure HAMMED it up for us that night!

  1. I love it! I am a big fan of ham and eggs, though I too might be leery of the green ones. When my son was about two and a half, he memorized Green Eggs and Ham, which I was very impressed with!

  2. That's cute. I wouldn't want to eat green eggs either--smart girl!

    Stopping by from writer's workshop.

  3. Hahahaha!!! That's awesome! Kids can be so darn funny!
    Laughing about the woot woot!

  4. Sounds like the apple might not fall far from the tree...just sayin'.....

  5. Kids are so funny! LOL! Visiting from Mama Kat's!

  6. What a funny story! Your daughter sounds like quite the character ;) Also, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving that sweet comment. Have a great rest if the day!

  7. That's great! I love the stories about the things they say. Kids say the craziest/funniest things.

  8. So cute!! I love the funny things kids say!! Thanks for visiting me and love your blog!

  9. hahahahaha, "I'm getting my ham on!" I love it! Kids are so funny. My husband likes to dance and rap about ham too ;) Sometimes you love something so much it can only be explained through some sweet, sweet moves and some beat-boxing ;)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my Mama Kat "vlog" last week :)
